Still traveling for work, but I just have to share this. Below is the trailer from an Israeli TV documentary: it’s in Hebrew and German with English subtitles. Near the end, you can hear Adolf Eichmann, the logistical mastermind of the Shoah,[***] say in his own voice the following: “If we had killed 10.3 million Jews, I would be content and say, ‘good, we destroyed the enemy'”.
The Daily Mail has a pretty detailed article about the find. On the tapes, Eichmann (y”sh) is interviewed by a Dutch journalist (and former Waffen SS Untersturmführer/2nd Lieutenant) named Willem Sassen. The Dutch and German wikipedia articles on this character have some details that aren’t in the Daily Mail. After the war, Sassen had himself fled to South America, where he worked as a roving correspondent for the German weekly Stern (the archrival of Der Spiegel); he also ghostwrote the autobiography of German top air ace (and later neo-Nazi activist) Hans-Ulrich Rudel.[*]
Over a period of four months, he had repeated interview sessions with Eichmann aimed at ghostwriting his autobiography. These resulted in about 75 hours worth of tape. From these, he derived articles that were published in TIME/LIFE and in Stern. As I understand from other sources, Sassen had hoped he could whitewash Eichmann, but was shocked to hear him proudly own up to his vile deeds.
Supposedly, the tapes were “lost” for many years, misplaced in the German federal archives in Koblenz before they were retrieved (during digitization of the archives?). However, it appears that the leading Swiss newspaper “Tagesanzeiger” [in German; free registration required] already in 2015 secured publishing rights and published audio excerpts and transcripts thereof:

Because Eichmann disputed the authenticity of the interview transcripts and the original audio tapes were not found until later, the unmasking material could not be used in the Jerusalem trial.
Stangneth calls the interviews “the most explanatory of all Eichmann and Holocaust sources in the postwar period.” They contrast with the image of the harmless accountant and order-taker that Eichmann tried to pass off in court and that was captured by TV cameras (viewable on Youtube).
Today, the tapes are in the Federal Archives in Koblenz. Thanks to the consent of the copyright holders, we are able to publish here for the first time an integral audio document showing Eichmann, who was often belittled as a “desk offender,” praising his deeds without any remorse. And expresses his regret that not many more Jews were killed. Since the sound quality of the tapes leaves much to be desired, it is recommended to take the transcription at hand when listening.

Note, by the way, his view of Jews as not just Untermenschen (inferior humans) but as what I would call “omnipotent villains”.
