[Memeorandum link; original story at GatewayPundit; Part II of story; Sort-of mirror at Founding Bloggers] It seems that the “safe school czar” Kevin Jennings has rather… peculiar ideas about what should be assigned reading in grades 7-12. Ideas that suggest that the greatest contribution he could make to school safety would be to step down and stay at least 3,000 yards away from the nearest school.

Out of curiosity to see exactly what kind of books [“safe schools czar”] Kevin Jennings and his organization think American students should be reading in school, our team chose a handful at random from the over 100 titles on GLSEN’s grades 7-12 list, and began reading through.
What we discovered shocked us. We were flabbergasted. Rendered speechless.
We were unprepared for what we encountered. Book after book after book contained stories and anecdotes that weren’t merely X-rated and pornographic, but which featured explicit descriptions of sex acts between pre-schoolers; stories that seemed to promote and recommend child-adult sexual relationships; stories of public masturbation, [sodomy] in restrooms, affairs between students and teachers, five-year-olds playing sex games, [ejaculate] flying through the air[…]. One memoir even praised becoming a prostitute as a way to increase one’s self-esteem. Above all, the books seemed to have less to do with promoting tolerance than with an unabashed attempt to indoctrinate students into a hyper-sexualized worldview.
I read the rest, which is a barrage of disgusting quotes painstakingly documented with images of the original pages. I couldn’t make it to the end because the stuff is simply too sick for words. Take my word for it, or go read for yourself — but have Alka-Seltzer and a barf bag handy.
Up is down, down is up, Spock has a beard, and a sicko like Kevin Jennings is “safe schools czar”. Bizarro world indeed. “Woe unto those that call evil good, and good evil.” (Is. 5:20)
